The Facts:

Here are some of the things people tell me BEFORE photo sessions:

I hate having my picture taken.

I look HORRIBLE in every picture ever taken of me.

I don’t photograph well.

I started photography by taking classes in college. But I’ll tell you the truth. I didn’t like it all that much.  I HATED the darkroom.  The smell.  Blech.

Then digital came along and I fell in love with both the immediate gratification of digital — AND photoshop.  I love love love processing/editing photographs.  And I like to think that this is what makes my work unique.

Take a look around this site. Look at the photographs — they tell how I see the world more clearly than anything written. If you like what you see, then I’d love to photograph you and your loved ones. It’s that simple, really.
